The fee is $99, and goes towards your device making it effectively free. Utah code requires snoring and sleep apnea evaluations be done in person in our South Jordan office. Clear aligner patients will need to be seen in person before starting treatment, but remote scanning for eligibility is ideal. We serve Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Summit, and Tooele counties. What is scanning?
Scanning has replaced impressions as the means of choice for collecting dental anatomy information. It is incredibly accurate and can be done with a simple scanner and laptop.
Our Concierge Scanning service is designed for busy professionals and families who value their time as much as their health. We dispatch a clinical specialist directly to your home or office with our high definition 3D intraoral scanner, capturing a precision digital map of your smile and airway in about 25 minutes. After your scan, you'll meet with the doctor through our secure, HIPAA-certified teledentistry platform to review your results, verify clinical eligibility and custom treatment plan from the comfort of your own screen.
To secure your private session, we require a $99 professional deposit, which covers our travel and the diagnostic digital workup. When you move forward with your custom aligner, the full $99 is credited directly to your account. While we bring the technology to your doorstep for the initial data capture and follow-ups, please note that some patients may require one or two visits to our South Jordan clinical hub for the precision fitting of devices or the placement/removal of orthodontic attachments.
